Suriya is a complete actor says RGV

Ram Gopal Varma The director is so impressed with the actor and is in complete awe about his performance in their forthcoming film ‘Raktha Charithra’.

The filmmaker, who had earlier penned a long post on Suriya on his blog, told a Tamil tabloid, “Suriya is a complete actor. His eyes are so powerful. They spit fire all the time. I just can’t stop admiring his eyes.”

Meanwhile, Ram Gopal Varma, who is controversy’s favourite child, has kicked off a fresh debate on Friday while speaking at the launch of his Telugu film ‘Katha-Screenplay-Darsakathvam Appalraju’ held at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.

He along with lyricist Kaluva Sai wrote a song with all the top directors by name and took potshots at them. Those who came under attack from RGV include K Raghavendra Rao, Gunasekhar, Gopal, Puri Jagannath, Kodi Ramakrishna and Krishnavamsi.

He didn’t stop taking potshots at Nagarjuna too, saying he never stood in a long queue to get tickets for Nagarjuna’s movies. Did someone talk about guts now?

Surya launched Official site of Bale Pandiya

The comedy movie 'Bale Pandiya' is releasing on September 3. The laugh riot was recently certified with an 'U' certificate there by confirming the film for the entire family to enjoy.

Starring Vishnu, Pia, Gigran and others 'Bale Pandiya' is a feel good film and has colourful moments throughout. Siddharth Chandrasekar is the director who assures"never a dull moment" in the film.

Surya to launch Boss Engira Baskaran on Aug 27th!

The audio of Arya and Nayanthara starrer ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ (BEB), is going to be released on August 27th at Sathyam Cinemas in a grand event. The audio is likely to be launched by famous star Surya and melodious music composer Harris Jayaraj.

BEB is directed by Siva Manasula Sakthi fame Rajesh and produced by Vasan Visual Ventures while acquired by Red Giant Movies. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music. The movie is said to be a romantic comedy entertainer which is set in the backdrop of small town milieu. The film is expected to release on September 10th or 17th.

Surya's s Singam will be remade in Kannada

Surya's super hit Tamil film Singam will be remade in Kannada as Kempe Gowda. In all likelihood, Sudeep or Darshan will be the hero of Kempe Gowda. The Kannada remake rights were acquired by Shankare Gowda. Will Sudeep give up Kanwarlal and concentrate on Kempe Gowda? Some sources feel otherwise, saying the content of Kempe Gowda is quite similar to his earlier film Thirupathi which crashed at the box office.

Many film sources opine that since Kempe Gowda was the founder of Bengaluru, any film named Kempe Gowda should have an original and fitting subject. For remaking Singam, the title Kempe Gowda does not really match well. So one has to wait and watch who will be the hero in the remake, who will direct it and what it will be finally titled.

'I will not stop doing films in Tamil' says surya

Suriya, who is making his debut in Bollywood with Ram Gopal Varma's 'Raktha Charithra', has said that his focus would always be on south Indian films.

"If I get roles that excite me I will surely do movies in Bollywood. But my preference is always south and I will not stop doing films in Tamil," the actor has said.

Thrilled about working with RGV, he said, "I feel Raktha Charithra would be a perfect launch pad for me in Bollywood. He (RGV) is one of the finest filmmakers and it was my longtime desire to work with him."

Based on the life of slain Andhra Pradesh political leader Paritala Ravindra, the film also has Vivek Oberoi and Priyamani in pivotal roles. "Vivek is a comfortable colleague. I enjoyed working with him," said Suriya. The film is made in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages.

Raththa Charitram release on September 17th

Ram Gopal Varma’s latest upcoming much waited controversial film ‘Raththa Charitram’ starring Vivek Oberoi, Surya, Priyamani in the main roles has completed its entire shooting and is gearing up for its release on September 17^th.

RGV is planning to make both Telugu and Hindi versions in two parts while the Tamil version in single part. The reason behind this is as Surya will make his appearance only towards the end of the first part of the film and hence the Tamil Version will narrate the story from his point of view. The film story is based on the real concept of TDP leader Paritala Ravi which is being played by Vivek Oberoi in the film and Surya will be seen as Maddela Cheruvu Suri and Priyamani as his wife Gangula Bhanumathi.

Surya’s ‘7 am Arivu’ to be made in Hindi!

Superstar Surya who made his bollywood debut with Ram Gopal Varma’s directorial ‘Rakta Charitra’ is going to act in one more Hindi film soon. It is heard that his latest Tamil forthcoming venture ‘7 am Arivu’ directed by ace filmmaker Murugadoss is going to be made in Hindi soon. Already it was reported that the film is going to be made both in Tamil and Telugu and now the latest sources say that it is also being made in Hindi which marks the re entry of Shruthi Haasan in bollywood.

Shruthi who made her bollywood debut with the film film ‘Luck’ in 2009 was not succeeded at the box office and this time her father Kamal Haasan is very cautious and taking all her responsibility for this film to give her daughter a first success in Hindi.

Sources also said that this film which is also planned to make in Hindi will surely increase the craze of Surya in bollywood and takes him more close to Hindi audiences.
